Organisations, Sub Organisations and Locations
Imagine you want to record Financial, Carbon or Social models for an internatinal organisation with multiple locations across the world and even many sites within one country. you may want to report on these individually or roll them up to a group report; How do you set about doing that?
First it helps to split it all out on paper and be sure you have the layout you want. let’s say 4 countries, two sub division or operating companies and 2 or three locations in each.
The Organsation is the parent company say TOPco1
The Sub Organisations are the countries or the operating compnaies Say OpCo1, OpCo2 and so on
The Locations are the sites within the remit of the operating Company. Say London, Manchester, Newcastle in OpCo1. Paris, Tolouse, Nice in OpCo2.
